What in the world??

Thu Oct 22, 2009, 9:20 AM
Hmmm.....

I really don't get why girls imagine themselves with cartoon dudes. Like, Malik or someone. I mean, obviously every anime otaku has done that before, but if they're MY age and doing that...Well, let's just say, it's going a little too far. But seriously, why do they do that? I can't even remember why I did that except I was lonely and didn't have anything better to do than ogle hot line art on the internet. LOL.

Huh! Funky monkey.

Oh, on another subject. So, I used to read romance novels but now not so much because I'm stuck on the classics, like To Kill A Mockingbird, and stuff. (And I haven't even really been reading that much, either.) You know how the sex scenes are like, the chick's a virgin and the guy all does stuff and it doesn't hurt and whatever or there's only a little bit of pain? That's the biggest load of a b.s. I've ever heard! Now, at the time when I was reading those novels, I didn't even care. The only romance novelist that portrays sex accurately is Amanda Quick and all of her scenes are pretty much the same, actually, which makes it kind of repetitive, but whatever. ANYWAY. I was talking with it to some people and we all agreed that it was ridiculous. Those romance novelists either have a bad memory or had one hell of a time their first time. They have these chicks doing all kind of funky stuff their first time. Do they really get that comfortable the first time? I doubt it. Lol, sorry, this probably isn't the most appropriate rant to be going on LJ hahaaa.... Wow. Now I'm all embarrassed =/

Well, I love to write. The time before I starting writing was when I was playing video games, yet another of my dirty little secrets. I love to read manga, not all that fan of watching anime because they usually screw it up. And I love to read, usually almost anything, and I admit I've a sucker for classical books like To Kill A Mockingbird or A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, especially if they revolve around children. I like photography, but it's not necessarily a passion, and I doodle a lot but again, it's just a hobby and less a passion. I'm a government major, so I love to argue about stuff that's happening in the news. I think John Locke was smoking something when he wrote the Second Treatise of Government and although Thomas Hobbes is a crazy monarchist, he totally got human nature down to the dot. Though, overall, Rousseau makes the most sense. (Hopefully I will have some comments about Marx and Nietzsche by next year, lol.)

I'm not a very serious person and prefer to talk about random stuff and joke around more than anything else. I don't sit around pondering human nature and what life really means to us in my spare time. I might be a shameless romantic when it comes to poetry and stuff like that, but I'm not a philosopher or anything. I'm really laid back and I'm not easily upset by things. It takes a lot to piss me off. I just want to get through life laughing and hope that things work out better for me than they did for people in my family. I don't make the best choices in everyone else's eyes, but I make the choices that keep me happy.

This is so random and late but I HAD TO TELL YOU I LOVE YOUR BEAUTY yugioh Malik & Anzu fanfic. It was the best one I have read IN MY LIFE no exaggeration. It was so beautifully thought out and written. I spent the whole day reading it and got pissed when disturbed. It was soooo amazing. Very detailed, exciting, nerve wrecking and beautiful. I had to rave. *raveravereavelovvveeee*

:) Thank you! And thanks for the review too, I was really happy when I got it, though kind of sad because you weren't a member and there was no e-mail, so I wasn't able to respond. Thankfully you have a deviantart that I can reply to. Yeahhh, I loved that story, it was fun writing and I wish I hadn't rushed it as much. Lol, if you're interested I have another Malik/Anzu that took place in Regency England and was completed recently. :P I like that one much better hahaa. In any case, thank you thank you thank you for reading it :DDD

T-that was rushed? bawwww it was so good! I had no idea. I am bombarding you but do you still write Malik x Anzu fics? I've always loved them and somehow come back to them :B I would love to see more work from you :] I WANT TO DO A PICTURE FOR BEAUTY SOOO BAD D; Could you give me a clearer idea of how you see them dressed and physical appearance? I know you gave vivid + lovely descriptions but more details are always LOVE

Lol, yep, I saw it!!!

Nahh, you're not bombarding me at all. Yeah, I still write Malik/Anzu, but I have had lots of writer's block so I haven't written much of anything lately, haha, and I haven't been working on any manipulashipping stories lately, either... :P I have a few one shots w/them - not many - and I have a MalikxAnzuxMarik in progress right now...

Umm, well, here's a link to the outfit that I had always imagined Malik wearing: [link]

And as for Anzu, this was the only image that came close to what I imagined, except the neckline was higher and she never had gloves: [link]

But omg I would loooovve if you drew something for Beauty! I love your drawings, they're awesome :D
